The Spirit of the Sea Festival invites you to join the Torchlight Parade!

The Community of Lights Events Society is proud to once again present the Spirit of the Sea Festival July 30 – Aug 1 2010 on the waterfront of White Rock, BC. It will be a weekend full of free fun for the whole family, including a children’s carnival and parade, beach games and races, and continuous live entertainment. 

The Torchlight Parade is held at dusk as darkness accentuates the brilliant lights and colours of the floats. Thousands of spectators line Marine Drive to be part of this dazzling experience. This year, our Torchlight Parade will be held on SATURDAY JULY 31, 2010. 

Showcase your community, event, or business by entering the parade! Participants come from throughout the region, province, and States. There are a variety of parade categories and judging of the parade entries is an exciting time for all.

Use this website to access the parade criteria and application form. Deadline for applications is June 15. To assist in planning, early registration is requested as all entries must be pre-approved by the Parade Committee by July 1.

For bands requiring billets, we will make every effort to enable you to join us. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
